Another Shower

Thanks to the hostesses Dawn, Elizabeth, Kim and Jessica for my awesome shower last weekend. We received a ton of great gifts including a travel system, baby monitor system, high chair and lots of other cute stuff! Needless to say Nicholas won't be hurting for any cute outfits as we have a closet full already!

MMP Baby Shower

Thanks to all my coworkers in Kennesaw for my work baby shower! We had lunch at a restaurant in downtown Kennesaw and then they gave me a Baby Einstein activity center! I know Nicholas will thoroughly enjoy it - as will I to get some hands free time. Please ignore my crazy eyes in the pic below!

Third Time's a Charm!

Unfortunately I was called back to redo the glucose test, which lasts close to three hours. The good part about being back at the doctor's office was we decided to try for a better 4D picture while we were waiting. The ultrasound technician was super nice and squeezed us in. Nicholas finally showed us his face instead of just his ears! I have no clue who he looks like, but I am sticking with my theory that he is going to be the spitting image of his daddy.

And to top that off, I passed the glucose test. No gestational diabetes for me! Thanks to everyone for your prayers! It really helped today!

Spring Break 2009

So when we were planning a nice beach trip for our anniversary, I really didn't think it would coincide with everyones spring break. Boy was I wrong. Granted I'm used to Gulf Shores which isn't quite the hot spot of Panama City, so seeing the number of college kids everywhere was a bit overwhelming.

We did have a nice trip and the weather was definitely more cooperative than our first anniversary trip. Here are a few pics from the condo and a few of our special surprise when we got back. Mimi finished the bedding and it looks awesome! Thanks Mimi!

2 Years!

I just want to thank Gabe for the past 2 years! It has been a exciting adventure to say the least and I know our next anniversary will be very different with Nicholas in the picture!

We celebrated yesterday by trying to get a better 4D picture of Nicholas and again he did not want to cooperate. He was content facing my back the whole time. Even jumping up and down and the ultrasound technician pushing on my belly couldn't coerce him move.

For dinner we went to Macaroni Grill at the Summit and it was delicious! I love you babe and look forward to many more years of celebrating!

4D Ultrasound

So today was the big day for our 4D ultrasound. Because of what happened at our last ultrasound (long story but started to feel woozy), I decided to not drink a lot of caffeine in the morning. Unfortunately, Nicholas just wasn't cooperative and was facing down the entire time, so we were only able to get a side shot of his face. His ear is cute!



They promised us a redo for no extra charge, so we are going to try the 4D experience again on Tuesday, our anniversary. Hopefully Nicholas will cooperate this time and give us a wonderful gift!

Bunco Baby Shower!

Last night was our monthly bunco night. I walked into Janna's apartment and saw a bunch of baby gift bags! They decided that I got all the bunco gifts for this month! I was completely surprised, which is why my reaction was Whoa - what's going on?

Thanks to all my bunco girls for last night! It was awesome and I can't thank you enough for the great gifts! I even had a stork cake that Alicia brought - it was the cutest ever!
